Actuator for Wet Gas Compressor

  • Description
  • Drawings and Photos
  • Typical Specifications
M.E.A. Incorporated has furnished several high performance Actuators which control the inlet pressure to the Wet Gas Compressor.  Previously, most actuators where the pneumatic type which provided poor control, same as poor as +/- 1.0 psig.  The goal is to control the inlet gas pressure of the Wet Gas Compressor to +/- 0.1 psig.  The reason for this is to improve the operation of the FCCU (Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit). This has been proven in several installations.  FCCU process engineers should study their FCCU performance and see what the increased control can do for their FCCU.
